Two sleighs bearing well-dressed patrons try to dodge one another as pedestrians and other horses and sleighs get tangled under foot. Barnum's museum band plays on the museum's balcony, even in the winter weather, and some museum patrons observe the chaos of the street. The scene is bright and lively.
